Khadi India, a symbol of India's self-reliance and heritage, promotes hand-spun and hand-woven fabric. Founded by Mahatma Gandhi during the Indian independence movement, it stands for sustainable development, rural employment, and the preservation of traditional crafts. Khadi embodies India's cultural identity, promoting eco-friendly and ethical fashion practices.
/ The solution
The redesign of Khadi India's logo modernizes its look while retaining cultural relevance. Inspired by the spinning wheel used in khadi production, the new design features brown and light brown hues, symbolizing tradition and craftsmanship. The tagline "Desh Ka Khadi" reinforces its national significance. Created using Adobe Illustrator, Clash Display font adds contemporary appeal.
