The Connector App is a digital platform designed to transform and automate the offline, manual process of lead management between Direct Selling Agents (DSAs), Sales Managers, and Branch Managers. It streamlines the entire journey starting from DSA registration, managerial approval, to real-time lead submission and tracking. By enabling DSAs and Sales Managers to independently add and manage leads through a guided digital workflow, the app significantly reduces processing time, minimizes errors, and allows greater transparency and control for all stakeholders. The solution empowers users with a DIY approach, improving scalability and operational efficiency while laying the groundwork for future enhancements and mobile-first experiences. This ongoing project aims to enhance productivity and digitize a traditionally cumbersome and resource-intensive sales process.

/ THe problem

The lead management process for DSAs and Sales Managers was entirely offline, resulting in high manual effort, lengthy approval turnaround, and frequent errors. Coordination between agents, branch managers, and company was slow and unstructured, leading to lost opportunities and inefficient resource use.

/ The Challenge

Starting with a vague project brief, the UX team initiated stakeholder workshops, mapped out user personas for DSAs, Sales Managers, and Branch Managers, and conducted research into existing workflows. Information architecture was designed from scratch to support the entire journey: DSA registration, branch manager approval, and digital lead submission. User flows and sketches were iteratively developed to ensure each step was clear and intuitive, emphasizing a DIY approach for agents to add and track leads independently.

/ The solution

A digital web app was conceptualized to streamline registration, approval, and lead management. User onboarding starts with DSA self-registration and document verification, followed by branch manager approval. After approval, DSAs can quickly add leads through guided forms, which are immediately routed for manager review and status tracking. The app facilitates DIY lead management, reducing manual errors, improving speed, and enabling real-time visibility for all stakeholders. As work continues, features are being refined for scalability, mobile usability, and future integrations.
